How awesome is today? I'll tell you why. I've finished all my finals, turned in any made up homework, and lived through the last day of school. I'm officially a junior in high school now!!! So long sophomore year, Had some great times, had even more awesome times. But now it's time to rest up before I actually begin acting like a real adult. XD
I also went to OMG!!!con 2008 and had so much fun, I'll add more pictures soon. I'll be going to Metro-con 2008, if anyone's going, tell me!

Heath Ledger, Actor, Is Found Dead at 28

Heath Ledger (Photo: Bryan Bedder/Getty Images)Updated, 6:45 p.m. | The actor Heath Ledger was found dead this afternoon in an apartment in Manhattan, according to the New York City police. Signs pointed to a suicide or an accidental overdose, police sources said. Mr. Ledger was 28.
At 3:31 p.m., according to the police, a masseuse arrived at the fourth-floor apartment of the building, at 421 Broome Street, between Crosby and Lafayette Streets in SoHo, for an appointment with Mr. Ledger. The masseuse was let in to the home by a housekeeper, who then knocked on the door of the bedroom Mr. Ledger was in. When no one answered, the housekeeper and the masseuse opened the bedroom and found Mr. Ledger naked and unconscious on a bed, with sleeping pills — both prescription medication and nonprescription — on a night table. They moved his body to the floor and attempted to revive him, but he did not respond. They immediately called the authorities.
The police said they did not suspect foul play. Ellen Borakove, a spokeswoman for the office of the city’s chief medical examiner, Dr. Charles S. Hirsch, said that employees of the office were at the apartment and that an autopsy would be conducted on Wednesday. Around 6:30 p.m., city workers rolled Mr. Ledger’s body, in a black body bag on a stretcher, out of the building.
Paul J. Browne, the Police Department’s deputy commissioner for public information, initially said that the apartment was owned by the actress Mary-Kate Olsen, but later reversed himself and said that was not the case.
A representative of Ms. Olsen said that the apartment did not belong to the actress. “It is not her apartment,” the representative, Annette Wolf, a publicist for Ms. Olsen, said in a phone interview. “She does not own the apartment. She has never owned the apartment. She and her sister have an apartment in New York City but they are not in this building.”
Heathcliff Andrew Ledger was born April 4, 1979 to Sally Ledger, a French teacher, and Kim Ledger, an engineer. Named after the main characters of Emily Brontë’s “Wuthering Heights.” He and his older sister, Katherine, grew up in Perth, Australia; his parents were divorced when he was about 10. As a student, he joined a local theater company and appeared in a production of “Peter Pan,” which led to his being cast in children’s television programs.
Mr. Ledger’s first Hollywood film was the teenage romantic comedy “10 Things I Hate About You” (1999). He later appeared in romantic-hero roles in films like “A Knight’s Tale” (2001) and “Casanova” (2005).
But the role for which Mr. Ledger was probably best known by American audiences was in “Brokeback Mountain” (2005). The film, based on a short story by Annie Proulx about two cowboys who fall in love, won critical acclaim. Reviewing the film in The New York Times, the critic Stephen Holden wrote, “Mr. Ledger magically and mysteriously disappears beneath the skin of his lean, sinewy character. It is a great screen performance, as good as the best of Marlon Brando and Sean Penn.” Mr. Ledger was nominated for an Oscar for Best Actor in January 2006.
Mr. Ledger met the actress Michelle Williams while filming ‘’Brokeback Mountain.” The two actors fell into a romance and moved to Boerum Hill, Brooklyn, where their comings and goings were widely noted by the celebrity press. They had a daughter, Matilda Rose, who was born on Oct. 28, 2005. The couple separated last year.
In an interview in London for an article published in November, Mr. Ledger told The New York Times, ‘’I feel like I’m wasting time if I repeat myself.” He said in the interview that he was not proud of his latest role, in Todd Haynes’s “I’m Not There,” in which Mr. Ledger was one of a half-dozen actors depicting the musician Bob Dylan. ‘’I feel the same way about everything I do. The day I say, ‘It’s good’ is the day I should start doing something else,” he said in the interview.
Mr. Ledger had been cast as The Joker in the latest Batman installment, “The Dark Knight,” set to be released this summer.
As news of Mr. Ledger’s death made its way across the Internet, the Police Department issued a fairly terse summary of the death: “ON TUESDAY, 01/22/08, AT APPROXIMATELY 1530 HOURS, IN THE CONFINES OF THE 5 PRECINCT, POLICE RESPONDED TO 421 BROOME STREET AND FOUND A M/W/28 UNCONSCIOUS. THE VICTIM WAS PRONOUNCED DOA AT THE SCENE. M.E.’S OFFICE TO DETERMINE THE CAUSE OF DEATH. INVESTIGATION CONTINUES.”
Calls by The Times to Mara Buxbaum, a publicist for Mr. Ledger, and Steve Alexander, the actor’s agent, were not immediately returned this afternoon.
The building at 421 Broome Street was sold for $4.8 million in 1999 by Ho Hwa Properties Inc. to Red Tulip, L.L.C. Calls to a phone number listed for Junia Hissa Neiva, a Brazilian painter who is listed as an owner of Red Tulip and of the building, went to an answering machine that was full and could not accept new messages.
Julie McIntosh, a hair stylist in a SoHo salon a few doors down from the apartment building said this afternoon that she saw Mr. Ledger once or twice a week and had twice seen him going on walks with his young daughter. “I think it’s really sad,” Ms. McIntosh said. “He’s a really nice guy. He seemed happy.” A month ago, she said, she chatted with Mr. Ledger in front of the salon and asked him, “When are you going to come in and let me wash your hair?” Ms. McIntosh said she believed Mr. Ledger had been living in the area for several months. “He always said hello,” she said.
Outside Ms. Williams’s house in Boerum Hill, Brooklyn, this evening, residents expressed shock at Mr. Ledger’s death. Elliott Puckett, an artist who lives in neighborhood, said, “That’s terrible. I used to see them with their dry cleaning and their baby. It’s really sad.”
Emily Ekman, a student who lives in Boerum Hill, said, “I knew Michelle. I’m blown away. I hope she’s O.K. She must be really upset.”
Elise Harris, who lived across the street from Ms. Williams and Mr. Ledger, said, “I’d met them. They were very nice, with their daughter. I think shock is the reaction. I didn’t even know he was on drugs, but that’s the kind of thing you don’t know unless you are in that circle. He was a nice guy, attractive, very friendly.”
A block away, at the Brooklyn Inn, the manager, Jason Furlani, said, “Obviously we’re shocked that it happened. We knew that he was in the neighborhood. I saw him around with his wife and daughter in the neighborhood, just normal folks. It’s a tragedy.”

I switched classes now. For the new semester, I'm taking AP Spanish IV, Honors English II, History Appreciation for Visual and Performing Arts (HAVPA for short), and Biology. Yes, I'm a sophomore and I'm taking Spanish IV! YAY! how cool is that? So yeah, I'm off today because it's a SNOW DAY!! lol
I had a swim meet last weekend. I did the 50 freestyle, 100 freestyle relay with three of my other teammates, and 50 backstroke. I nearly broke my left wrist from the 50 back. See I had to sorta slow down when I see the flags at the end of the wall. but instead I sped up and hit my wrist really hard on the wall. It was sorta hurting yesterday too, but it's all good. But I got a really bad cold after the meet. Oh well, it's worth it.
I got my iPod back finally. And I'm going to my first concert! Ok, it's not Linkin Park or anything, it's Kelly Clarkson and Reba. My friend invited me and I'm not allowed to go ato a rock concert until I'm older. Blah, I'm 16! I'm old enough!! Oh well, I'm spending the night at Mal's house then on Saturday night WE'RE ALL GOING TO THE WINTER SEMI FORMAL!! I've got the cutest dress I'll post pics afterwards.

hyperLuna casually reads from her book. It wasn't a very exhausting day and it wasn't late but nevertheless she was tired. Of what exactly? Of everyone having found their boyfriends and Luna couldn't have one. Not being she wasn't pretty enough, that was behind it. She was just too weird for anyone. And it pissed her off at times.
Just as Luna was about to hit the sack, Cho waltzes in the common room. Her makeup has run down her cheeks and her eyes were puffy.
"Cho? Are you okay?", Luna said concerned.
"Oh I'm alright", Cho half-smiled and wiped her face. "I just broke up with Harry". Luna's eyes grew big and she mouthed an apology. "Oh, don't be. I guess it just wasn't meant to be". Cho flopped herself on the couch with a big sigh. "Luna? Do you think I'm ugly?"
Luna sat down with the Chinese girl. "Of course not. You're gorgeous!", Luna blushed when she blurted that and quickly improvised, "Uh, I mean, you're not ugly at all"
Cho went on, "Do you think I'm skanky or anything? I know that's a weird question to ask but I think I'm giving off these vibes to all these guys and that's the only reason they'll go out with me in the first place. I mean, I haven't had a decent relationship in a really long time and I just don't know what's wrong with me". With that, Cho started crying again. Luna watched as the tears slowly ran down her beautiful face and desperately want to kiss them away. Only her conscience prevented her from doing so.
"Well, maybe that's a sign", Luna finally said after an eternity admiring the crying girl. Cho looked up in confusion. "I mean, maybe you should take a break from guys. It could help you"
"And do what exactly?", Cho snapped at the fourth year. "Become a lesbian? Date girls? Hell no! I'm not that desperate. Besides I hate lesbians"
This angered Luna and she got up, "It was just a suggestion!" Luna roared at the girl, causing her to jump. "From all the bad shit you've been in I wouldn't be surprised if you were one! And to think, I actually felt sorry for you!"
"How dare you say that to me!", Cho shouted back, standing up to face the dirty blonde girl. "A girl having a bad relationship or two does not make her a lesbian! This is completely ridiculus!"
"Oh, sure! Homosexuality is wrong isn't it? Well, I've got news for you: I'm A LESBIAN!!", Luna screamed at her. "And I know all the warning signs of one and you have them all!"
"Bullshit Luna! I like guys! Guys only! NO GIRLS!!", Cho barked at her.
"Then kiss me", Luna whispered, drawing herself closer to her.
"What?!?", Cho backed away, but Luna made herself even closer.
"If you think you're straight and all that other bullshit, then you will have absolutely no problem kissing me and having no feelings towards it", Luna spoke calmly but Cho was not having it.
"I don't need to prove anything to you!", Cho shouted and started for the girls dorm. Luna walked in front of her and blocked her way there.
"You're right. But you need to prove it to yourself. I know that's what's been bothering you", Luna spoke softly again. Cho had to admit that she looked very beautiful just then. Cho sighed and looked at her again. Her pale eyes were so mesmorizing, how could Cho refuse the offer? Cho finally gave in and leaned in. She noticed Luna tilt her head and felt butterflies in her stomach. Finally their lips touched and Cho felt a sensation that she never had felt before. She deepened the kiss and placed her hands on her, one behind her neck and the other on her hip. Luna placed both hands on Cho's hips. The girls kissed breathlessly until they found themselves on the steps of the dorm. Luna didn't mind and neither did Cho about the fact they were on the cold steps.
Cho allowed Luna to gain access in her mouth and felt her tougue about the roof of her mouth as Cho did the same. Luna felt Cho's hands move to the inside of her blouse and did not worry. Instead, she placed one of her hands up Cho's thigh and the other on her breast. They were lost in each other until they heard footsteps. Quickly the two girls broke apart and stood up.
"What are you girls doing out of bed?", Professor Flitwick demanded.
"Nothing", they said in unison and ran upstairs.

Wow so much has gone on in my life. Where to start...
1. Me and my Canadian boyfriend. Lasted about a month. Then we tried it again but it just didn't work *sigh*
2. I started school. My sophomore year. Yay me.
3. I did come out with that video so watch it!
4. I joined about five clubs at my school which is a lot! Beta Club *for smart people*, Art Club*for gifted artists lol*, Spectrum *A Gay Straight Alliance they finally come up with this at my homophobic school, Spanish club *I'm going to Puerto Rico in the spring any of my boricua homies wanna hang out? lol*, and Save Darfur *where yours truly is VP, vice-president lol*
5. I started another sport: swimming. Out of all the sports I tried *Softball, soccer, volleyball, tae kwon do* This is my favorite. And I have a meet next saturday *gulps*
6. I had a three week relationship with a pothead. I was apparently desperate, plus he thought I was a whore *bastard...*
7. I managed to get a good grade in Geometry lol.
8. Mi espanol es muy mas bueno. lol
9. I got my belly and cartilage pierced *I took out the cartilage though cuz it didnt look good on me*
10. Told a friend of mine *very perverted in a bad way*to piss off.
11. Started a relationship with a senior named Katye *she's everything I wanted in a guy/girl*
12. Made more friends than ever *take that Alex and Cierra haha*
13. Befriended more freshman *what happened? they got hott!*
14. Have a crush on a freshman on my swim team *I swear, he's 14 and looks 17, with that toned body and everything...ahhh lol*
15. Stopped making vids to focus on school work.
